Before visiting the community of Daguragu and travelling on the Gurindji Land Trust you must obtain a permit from the Central Land Council. Travelling through the twonship of Kalkaringi without a per mit is allowed as it is a gazetted open township.

A permanent health clinic is located in each community, served by three permanent health sisters and Aboriginal Health Workers. There is a permanent doctor based at Kalkaringi who attends the Daguragu Clinic daily also. A Dentist visits the communities quarterly. People/visitors suffering medical emergencies are evacuated to Katherine and Darwin Hospitals.
