Daguragu Community Government Council is a local governing body incorporated through the NT Local Government Act. It provides services to residents within a designated area of 43.2 square kilometres and, in particular the communities of Kalkaringi and Daguragu.

The Council has 12 elected members with ordinary Council meetings held on a monthly basis. Executive Committee meetings are held weekly. Council elections are conducted every 2 years.

The next Council elections will be held September the 23rd 2007.
