Staff Leave
Annual Leave
When applying for annual leave, staff are required to give the CEO/Town Clerk 28 days notice. Staff must make their application through their function manager, who is required to provide a recommendation to the CEO/Town Clerk for final approval.
Time Off In Lieu
If staff intend to claim TOIL, they must:
- document overtime hours worked on timesheets, and
- receive approval to claim TOIL from the CEO/Town Clerk prior to carrying out the additional work.
When applying for TOIL, staff are required to give the CEO/Town Clerk 14 days notice.
Leave Without Pay
When applying for Leave Without Pay staff are required to give the CEO/Town Clerk 14 days notice.
All staff are advised to refer to the specific clauses in their contracts which provide further details regarding leave.
